This spring marked the six-year anniversary of Teen Vogue, a magazine targeted to teenage girls with an interest in fashion and celebrities. Most people might know the magazine from Whitney Port and Lauren Conrad’s documented internship at Teen Vogue on the MTV series The Hills. What they might not know is the creative process that transforms ideas from an inspiration board to a polished version of the magazine full of today’s latest fashion trends, inspiration stories, explosive colors and images that roar with their vigor and animation. Fashion Director Gloria Baume, and Photo Director Jennifer Pastore, elaborate on this process, and offer helpful guidance to up and comers.
